The Unity-In-The-Community Program

The Unity-In-The-Community Program (UITCP) was initiated in 2020. The program provides single-family homes to chronically homeless veterans and their families. The UITCP program works with the Veterans Administration to identify and place homeless veteran families, provides drop-in visits to support the stability of the residents, and provides referrals to needed services in the community. Veterans pay 30% of their income in rent. UITCP is currently servicing nine residents and is supported through HUD VASH vouchers and funding from private donors.
